I introduced my bachelorette cousin to my attractive, available classmate. I am not in the matchmaking business, but I knew that they would complement each other well. They went on a few dates together… and I guess sparks flew because two years later they were engaged.
The wedding is in two weeks and I’ll be standing as the matron on honor. I did not realize the duties that came along with being the matron of honor. I’ve never been a matron of honor before. And although I am married, I never had a real maid of honor. You see, my DH and I eloped in a Vegas chapel. Though we did have a maid of honor and a best man at the wedding, we didn’t know them personally… and really I guess they could have been considered as just witnesses and not a part of any wedding party. They were two people we found out in the lobby. We asked them if they were willing to stand there for a couple of minutes because we needed a few eyes to sign the certificate attesting that they saw and heard the I do’s.
So this traditional wedding stuff is new territory to me. I did not realize it was so much work. And I did not realize that by accepting the matron of honor role I was also agreeing to be put smack dab in the middle of everything that happens. I have been a pseudo crisis counselor for the past 7 months. It’s like having a second job.
But anyway… since I have been so busy helping my cousin prepare for the wedding, I have not had time to search for wedding gifts. I was surprised when I saw Coldwater Creek on the long list of gift registries.
I always thought of Coldwater Creek as a clothing store. I did not know that they offered a huge selection of home and gift items. They have many great wedding gift options that range from drinking glass sets to framed prints and canvas art and even spa retreats. So this weekend, I’m going to Coldwater Creek to the find some nice gifts.
But before I go busting down the doors of Coldwater Creek… I first must find out what Coldwater Creek coupons and deals are available. This is what I found:
