What may make it worth it is that they renew the alerts and send the credit reports automatically . That at least might be worth the $10 a month. I do not think the advertising is misleading so much as just emphasizing the protection aspect and down playing the risk that is left. As long they honor their guarantees I do not think there is a problem with them. That said everyone should their due diligence and understand what they are paying for .
