Pricing & Benefits

Choosing a plan that works for your needs is the first step in protecting your credit and identity. While some consumers might want the highest level of protection, this isn’t the case for all users. IdentityForce offers 2 tiers of protection to choose from:

The UltraSecure Identity Force Plan

The UltraSecure service includes several key features to help protect your identity. They are broken into four very important categories:

Monitor:

The first step in protecting your identity, credit and personal information is to stay abreast of any illegal usage of your information. Probably the most important step in any identity protection program is to monitor the internet for your personal information. In order to do this IdentityForce takes the following steps:

  • Continuously monitor your personal information to detect illegal trading and selling
  • Check comprehensive public records monitoring including criminal, court and sex offender records
  • Monitor black web sites to make sure your information is not used, bought or sold

Some of the types of monitoring that are a constant include change of address monitoring, court record monitoring, credit report monitoring, identity examining, payday loan watching, advanced fraud detection and sex offender monitoring. If any of these instances occur, the alert will be triggered and you will be notified.

Alert:

Should your credit or identity get attacked by cyber criminals you need to know. You can’t stop what you aren’t aware of. To keep you informed, the next step is to alert you to signs of trouble. Fortunately with the ease of mobile apps and websites you can receive almost immediate notification of a problem. Once an alert has been raised, IdentityForce will then:

• Provide you with instant notification when your personal information is being misused
• Give you the power to act on the problem before the damage is done

The alerts that are most common when using IndentityForce plans include change of address alert, court record notification, credit report alert, fraud alert reminders, identity warnings, bank and credit card activity alerts, IdentityForce Threat alarms, payday loan notification, sex offender alarms and fraud alerts.

Respond:

Once you know there is a problem, it’s time to take action. But in the event of identity theft or stolen credit, would you even know what to do? This is where IdentityForce takes the lead and works to rectify the situation. Once a problem is identified, experts in theft response will take action.

• Round the clock expert staff will immediately begin providing restoration services
• Certified Protection Experts will save you hundreds of hours by completing all the paperwork, making calls and handling every detail of the restoration process

The IdentityForce team of experts will give you the peace of mind to know that your identity is safe in their hands.

Relax:

IdentityForce encourages its customers to relax in knowing that they are vigilantly watching your credit so you don’t have to. This program delivers the peace of mind that comes with complete protection. It is backed by a nation-wide $1 million insurance policy. The IndentityForce UltraSecure plan costs $14.95 per month and you can take advantage of the 14-day free trial.

The UltraSecure + Credit Identity Force Plan

The UltraSecure + Credit service includes everything in UltraSecure plus and important fifth step – Credit Monitoring. Customers who opt for the upgraded version of the subscription plan will have quick access to monitoring their credit score. They can take advantage of:

• Daily 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring
• Credit Report, Score and Score Tracker

The IndentityForce UltraSecure + Credit plan costs $19.95 per month.

You also have the ability to change your membership level based on your needs.

Identity Theft Protection

Identity theft is an increasingly common occurrence in today’s world. IdentityForce helps you feel safe and secure in this area. They have very good protection for their members, which includes up to $1,000,000 in identity theft protection insurance.

Protecting Your Family

The experts at IdentityForce highlight how important your family’s information is to your financial security. Their website is full of important reminders that despite the understanding that we need to insure our cars and homes, so many of us fall short when it comes to our identities and credit. They use their advanced system to constantly monitor the web for breaches to your personal information and alerts you as soon as there is a problem.

IdentityForce Child Watch

One of the areas of identity theft that is seeing high level of growth is among children. According to the US Federal Trade Commission, as of 2017 as much as 6 percent of all identity thefts are among kids younger than 20. This number is rapidly climbing. This is in large part due to the fact that kids have good, clean credit. There yet untouched credit can serve as a playground for experienced cyber criminals.

By adding ChildWatch to an IdentityForce adult plan you will have peace of mind in knowing that your kids identities are safe. By adding this feature to an existing adult membership you simply package ChildWatch as an added service. Should there be any suspicious activity in regards to your child’s identity, an alert would be sent directly to the parents identity protection dashboard. The addition of ChildWatch to your plan includes:

• Thorough and ongoing identity monitoring
• Smart SSN Tracker
• An identity restoration specialist
• $1 million in identity theft insurance

This special feature can be added to either plan and offers a great way to safeguard your kids credit until they are ready to use it.

Medical Identity Protection

Another area of fraud seeing an unfortunate amount of growth is in medical identity theft. This kind of fraud occurs when a person steals your medical information and uses it for medical care, healthcare goods or prescription medications.

Experts have noted that medical identities may be as much as 20 to even 50 times more valuable to criminals than your financial information. Which is why, according to IdentityForce, over two million Americans were victims of medical identity theft in 2014, and medical identity theft increased nearly 22 percent last year.

IdentityForce takes important steps to ensure that your medical coverage isn’t compromised, including:

• Comprehensive identity monitoring of your medical accounts like your medical insurance identification number and rapid alerts of suspicious activity
• A simple medical identity form giving you an easy way to secure a benefits payout report from your medical and health insurance companies
• Protection under its nationwide $1 million master insurance policy with a special medical identity theft rider for victims of theft

IdentityForce for Businesses

In addition to personal and family coverage, IdentityForce also offers a number of benefits and coverage for businesses. They specialize in everything from employee coverage to data breach recovery to customer identity protection.

Employee Benefits

As employee coverage becomes a more common part of employee packages, IdentityForce is no exception. IdentityForce estimates that by 2018 70 percent of all employers will offer employee identity protection as part of their employment package. They offer packages that allow employers to cover their employees in terms of identity and credit protection. This is a great way to win over potential clients of the highest caliber.

Breach Response

In the unfortunate event of a data breach, your company can become vulnerable. Whether your customer database is compromised or trade secrets are stolen, your business has to recover quickly. The most effective way to do this is to take advantage of the expertise of a company like IdentityForce to correct the situation and help customers stay loyal to your business.

Business Partners

You can also partner with IdentityForce in order to offer your customers the protection they need. While each partner earns a percentage of packages sold through their link, the most valuable aspect of this partnership is helping your customers understand how important their privacy is.

IdentityForce Affiliates

In addition to partnership relationships, IdentityForce also offers an affiliate program. These affiliates can help promote the importance of identity protection while earning some money.

Government Agencies

A final area of business protection is the Government Identity Protection plan. This business service offers federal, state and local government agencies flexible, low-cost solutions for identity defense and breach response. Agencies can choose from comprehensive, credit monitoring packages or customize a government identity theft protection package that fits both their budget and their protection needs.

TransUnion is one of the largest firms that provide credit-reporting services to consumers and the financial services industry. They offer credit monitoring services to the general public as well as access to your credit scores, identity theft protection and alerts. They also have a bonus service that can monitor your financial accounts for fraud. In case you’re unsure about them, they offer a free trial to try out their services before you commit to a long-term relationship with them. TransUnion is a powerhouse in the credit report and monitoring industry and their services live up to their reputation.

The TransUnion mission, as stated by the company, is: “To help people around the world access the opportunities that lead to a higher quality of life, by helping organizations optimize their risk-based decisions and enabling consumers to understand and manage their personal information.”

Getting Started

When you arrive at the TransUnion website you are asked to choose one of two options. Option A – Get your credit score and report or Option B – Begin with free identity protection. Note that there is also a tab at the top of the page to decipher whether you are looking for personal protection or business protection, but we will get to that. Unfortunately the TransUnion site gives less information about their services than many of the other powerhouses in credit monitoring and identity theft. They ask for your sign up information from the first mouse click.

Try Before You Buy

You can access the TransUnion Basic plan through a 30-day trial period for an introductory rate of $4.95 for the first month. During this time you can access your three bureau credit scores. In our modern, rapidly changing society – much of our lives are driven by the changes in technology. Unfortunately this includes both the good and the bad. Credit Report.com Review: Credit Report Monitoring

CreditReport.com provides consumers with access to their credit reports and scores, a credit monitoring service, as well as easy and inexpensive access to credit profiles.  As a member of the Experian family, you could say that CreditReport.com is the daughter of Consumerinfo.com and granddaughter of Experian.

ConsumerInfo has been in operation since 1995.  While Experian, with a presence in over 60 countries, has been around for even longer.  As an industry leader, Experian has delivered over 20 million credit reports to over 3 million members.

The main aim of CreditReport.com is to provide products and services that help individual consumers understand their personal finances and provide access to monitoring services for consumer peace of mind.  The latter is the key to identifying abnormal activity quickly which is essential in preventing fraud.

The information available through CreditReport.com is also useful, as it tells you where you stand financially in one simple number – your credit score.  This magic number will determine whether or not you qualify for a loan or credit card, the interest rate you are granted and sometimes even if you make the shortlist when applying for a job.

7-Day Trial

If you want a peek at the service without any major commitment, you can purchase a 7-Day trial membership for just $1.  Just to add the feel good factor, that $1 is actually donated to DonorsChoose.org, an online charity that offers funds to classrooms in need.

With this 7-Day ‘peek’ you will not be restricted in anyway.  You will have unlimited access to your credit report, credit score  and the credit monitoring service for 7 days, as well as daily monitoring of your credit reports from the main three credit bureaus:

  • Equifax
  • Experian
  • TransUnion

Your trial membership at CreditReport.com also provides unlimited access to an analysis of your credit history and email alerts whenever there is a change to your credit history.  These changes could range from late payments to a credit card charge dispute.

You may cancel anytime within the 7-Day period without charge.

Another benefit of CreditReport.com is that you can sign up for the website’s newsletter and you don’t even need to be a member.  This newsletter offers credit-related news and tons of beneficial information regarding credit and related topics such:

  • How to raise your credit score
  • How to avoid becoming a victim of credit card fraud or identity theft.

Main Membership Benefits

If you do decide to sign up for a full membership, you will need to part with $29.95 every month.  If after signing up you decide the CreditReport.com service is not for you, you can cancel at anytime.  Cancellation does not mean all ties are cut however; you will still receive daily as well as bi-monthly credit monitoring and alerts.

Other benefits of the service include:

– Fraud resolution support

This service offers access to CreditReport.com representatives who can assist you if you become a victim of identity theft. With this service, you could be eligible to receive a customized fraud resolution kit, as well as access to a toll-free number where support staff will walk you through identity theft resolution options. The staff can even help you place a fraud alert on your credit report.

– $50,000 product guarantee

If you fall victim to identity theft because of the failure of CreditReport.com to provide identity protection services, the company will reimburse you up to $50,000 for expenses incurred that are directly related to your identity theft and/or its resolution.  Please note that you have to prove you were actively using the service as described in their terms and conditions for this to apply.

– ChildSecure

With this service, you can enroll any/all eligible children and CreditReport.com will be on the alert for any credit applications or use of their personal information.

Member Support

CreditReport.com provides a fairly in-depth FAQ database on their website. If you have more complicated questions, or prefer to speak with a live representative, CreditReport.com offers both telephone and email support.

The Bottom Line

CreditReport.com is most beneficial if you want to access credit monitoring services and regular updates of your credit score.  If you want a more all encompassing identity theft protection/resolution service then there are other products in the market that protect against the various elements of identity theft.

For example, if you want protection that will recover lost or stolen debit and credit cards, with CreditReport.com, you will need to sign up for the CardSafe program which is an additional $19.95 per year in addition to the regular monthly membership.  Other services offer this protection and more as part of the package for a comparative cost.

Overall, the company offers a great credit monitoring service for the price and there is ample customer support to assist you along the way.

YourScoreAndMore
5951 Encina Rd., Suite 208
Goleta, CA 93117

Bottom Line

YourScoreAndMore offers standard services as compared to their competitors but at a much higher price point. They don’t have a variety of pricing plans to choose from like some of their competitors which makes it a one size fits all solution. In addition, they don’t make it easy to find out much more information about them. For this price, there are competitors who offer many more benefits ranging from shopping rewards malls to roadside assistance and additional financial services. This would make it seem that this company is not the best deal in the market place even though they offer many standard services in the industry and have good customer service options.

Credit Sesame Review: Credit Report Monitoring

Credit Sesame is a financial company that offers debt management and credit monitoring services.  The company was founded in 2010 and is backed by institutional advisors and venture capital firms.  The aim of Credit Sesame is twofold, the first is to help consumer’s access smarter loans thus saving money and the second is a service that allows you to take control of your credit.  In this review, we will focus on the credit monitoring aspect of Credit Sesame.

So just what does this service entail?  Credit Sesame provides:

  • A free credit monitoring service which is updated monthly
  • Unbiased financial advice which is suited to your unique situation
  • Tools to give you a better understanding of your credit score and overall debt position

Credit Sesame will show you your financial position at a glance.  They do this by analyzing all your debts such as mortgages, credit cards, loans and other debt.  At the end of the analysis, which takes only a few minutes, you will be provided with your free credit score.  That’s right….there is no fee for this service.

There is another arm of Credit Sesame which is to find affordable loans for consumers and when a loan is sold, the company takes a fee from the bank so the credit monitoring service is offered to customers at no charge.

With Credit Sesame, in addition to monthly credit updates, consumers are provided with trending graphs which are very simple to use.  These graphs allow you to track your financial position at any time.

When you sign up for the service you will need to provide basic information about yourself including your social security number.  The company uses the social security number to access your score from Experian.  The company states that it takes security very seriously and uses similar protection products like those used at the major banks.

Things to Note

Credit Sesame does not provide you with a FICO score, instead they use the National Equivalency Score from Experian. In addition, the company does not access information from the other credit bureaus. The FICO score is the score most lenders would use when assessing your credit worthiness, and they are available from TransUnion, Equifax and Experian, the three main credit bureaus.

The National Equivalency Score provided by Credit Sesame is Experian’s version of the FICO score.

Bottom Line

Credit Sesame offers a basic credit monitoring service with the aim of helping you find better loans.  It seems as though loan referral is the main business and the credit monitoring is a free way to attract potential customers.  The company does not access all three credit bureaus and there is no mention of identity theft services.  There are certainly better credits monitoring services on the market.  You may need to pay a small fee for what’s out there, but in return you will get a more comprehensive service.

Bottom Line

For the budget conscious who need a basic working service, the Complete Advantage plan is very adequate and is the most popular service amongst consumers. If you want to benefit from additional protection and a higher identity theft insurance payout, for $3.00 extra the Premier plan is certainly worth looking into.

Both products monitor all three bureaus which is the best option, however the final decision really depends on what consumers need.
